SMAC CLEA Field ManualThis Field Guide was developed for the Social Mobilisation Action Consortium (SMAC). SMAC is comprised of BBC Media Action, U.S. Centres for Disease Control and Prevention, FOCUS 1000, GOAL and Restless Development. The CLEA approach builds on a history of Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), and takes inspiration from the Community-Led Total Sanitation (CLTS) approach and its success in Sierra Leone.
