Depuis deux mois, je suis l&#039;\u00e9pid\u00e9mie aux nouvelles, je lis \u00e0 ce sujet sur listerv et je m&#039;inqui\u00e8te de plus en plus.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ce que je sais<br \/>\n<\/strong>Ebola est tout nouveau en Afrique de l&#039;Ouest, n&#039;ayant \u00e9t\u00e9 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/vhf\/ebola\/outbreaks\/history\/chronology.html\">document\u00e9 chez l&#039;homme parmi le public<\/a> en Afrique centrale et orientale. Tout comme les \u00e9ducateurs sanitaires dans un pass\u00e9 r\u00e9cent ont d\u00fb convaincre de nombreuses personnes en Afrique australe que le VIH\/SIDA \u00e9tait r\u00e9el, ils sont aujourd&#039;hui confront\u00e9s \u00e0 un d\u00e9fi similaire avec Ebola en Afrique de l&#039;Ouest.<\/p>\n<p>Les sceptiques d&#039;Ebola sont <a href=\"http:\/\/www.npr.org\/blogs\/goatsandsoda\/2014\/08\/06\/338234063\/skeptics-in-sierra-leone-doubt-ebola-virus-exists\">en Sierra L\u00e9one<\/a>, les sceptiques d&#039;Ebola <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.reuters.com\/great-debate\/2014\/08\/11\/ebola-the-politics-of-resistance-in-liberia\/\">au Lib\u00e9ria<\/a> et les justiciers d&#039;Ebola <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/red-cross-ebola-team-attacked-in-guinea\/\">en Guin\u00e9e<\/a>. Dans chaque pays, des campagnes sont en cours pour contrer ces croyances enracin\u00e9es et des r\u00e9ponses \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle, y compris un couvre-feu national en Sierra Leone. Le couvre-feu a \u00e9t\u00e9 un succ\u00e8s, mais une communication soutenue pour le changement social et comportemental (CCSC) est n\u00e9cessaire.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Le public doit comprendre que cette campagne n&#039;a pas mis fin \u00e0 Ebola mais peut \u00eatre le d\u00e9but de la fin si tout le monde reste vigilant&quot;, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 la charg\u00e9e d&#039;affaires am\u00e9ricaine en Sierra Leone, Kathleen Fitzgibbon, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/world\/2014\/sep\/24\/ebola-sierra-leone-curfew\">tel que rapport\u00e9 dans le Guardian<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ce que je veux savoir<br \/>\n<\/strong>Pour contrer la peur et le d\u00e9ni, quels cadres de changement de comportement sont les plus efficaces\u00a0? Le mod\u00e8le de diffusion de l&#039;innovation pourrait-il \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 pour introduire de nouvelles attitudes conduisant \u00e0 un changement de comportement\u00a0? Si oui, quels dirigeants communautaires doivent \u00eatre contact\u00e9s en premier et, avec l&#039;ampleur de l&#039;\u00e9pid\u00e9mie, quelle partie de la population a le besoin le plus urgent\u00a0?<\/p>\n<p>Un autre de mes coll\u00e8gues a partag\u00e9 une <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.worldbank.org\/publicsphere\/entertainment-media-can-help-change-behaviors-and-stop-ebola-outbreak\">Article de blog de la Banque mondiale<\/a> sugg\u00e9rant que l&#039;\u00e9ducation par le divertissement a un r\u00f4le unique \u00e0 jouer dans la r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 Ebola.
