<\/a>Une \u00e9pid\u00e9mie sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent de maladie \u00e0 virus Ebola (EVD) a commenc\u00e9 dans le district de Kailahun en Sierra Leone au printemps 2014 et a atteint son apog\u00e9e en novembre. L'\u00e9pid\u00e9mie qui a ravag\u00e9 la Sierra Leone, la Guin\u00e9e et le Lib\u00e9ria a \u00e9t\u00e9 qualifi\u00e9e par l'OMS de \u00ab la plus importante, la plus complexe et la plus grave que nous ayons jamais vue \u00bb. Avec l'augmentation des cas, il \u00e9tait n\u00e9cessaire d'identifier les \u00abpoints chauds\u00bb de l'\u00e9pid\u00e9mie et de coordonner les efforts pour mener imm\u00e9diatement des activit\u00e9s de mobilisation sociale afin de r\u00e9duire la propagation et d'\u00e9duquer les membres de la communaut\u00e9 et de les responsabiliser en tant que partenaires dans la lutte contre la maladie.<\/p>\n
